Typhoon Nabi

Japan has been hit by Typhoon Nabi today. Southern Japan has been hit very bad, with strong winds and rain.At some places there has been 500 to 700 mls of rain in one day. Three people have lost there lives and sevaral are still missing. Massive evacuation is on the way in sevaral cities in Kyushu, in the surrounding cities and towns. There has been severe damage from landslides and flooding. Hiroshima has been lucky this time.It has been raining here as much as 300 mls today. The wind is not very strong and the damage is expected to be minimum but the authorities are in high alert through out southern and western Japan.

My work was cancelled due to the typhoon and I have been stuck at home all day sitting in front of the computer.I have taken a single step outside! Now I am just bored.

MOS LIFE!

Folks! When it comes down to burgers,
nothing beats the MOS Burgers. I have been a regular MOS
customer for the last 5 years. Why? Because the burgers here are fresh, their vegetables are fresh and some of them are grown organically. To be sure of the facts, they have all the information written about their products and displayed proudly in each and every restaurant. They even have nutritional facts in their MOS MENU BOOK. Isn`t this great? But for some of you who can not read Japanese, it might not be of mush use but you can atleast be assured that they care about you and me! And after all these years I AM LOVING IT all the more because I can surf the internet here! Yes, it`s a HOTSPOT!

Seu Jorge at Club Quattro In Hiroshima

The band at Club Quattro Hiroshima.Seu Jorge was remarkably impressive.

This band played at Club Quattro in Hiroshima on th night of August 30th 2005. I had no plans to go and see them but I got an invitation and so I went to check it out. To my surprise, it was a fantastic band. The music was great and Sue's vocals were deep and husky. Some songs combined with his deep vocals were enough to put you in a trance!
Two hours of good live music refreshed me and was ready for more but....I ran into him at Elbarco later on at night.
